Château Virgile

Located at the southwest of the Costieres de Nimes, this 35 hectares family property is situated on sunlit hillsides dominating the Natural Park of the "Petite Camargue".

The wine variety at the property is composed of Syrah, Grenache noir and other various vines such as Carignan, cinsault, Marsanne, roussanne and Mourvèdre

Glowing Vinsines

The "Château Virgile" produces red, rosé and white traditional wines from the South of France (grenache noir, Syrah, Marsanne, Carignan, Cinsault), caracterized by the delicacy of its arom as and by its fine bouquet.

The Costières de Nîmes

The vineyard is extended on over 10 000 hectares on the east bank of the Rhône valley and on the hills neighbouring its delta, at the junction of Languedoc and Provence.

The soil is composed of alluvium from the Rhône river, with a minor to major proportion of stones known as "gress".

The Mediterranean climate confers an exceptional advantage for the production of authentic wines.
